Love awesome gadgets, the latest technology in cars, motorcycles, airplanes and more – in short, the kind of stuff featured on “Big Boys Toys”? We do too! That’s why CXC Simulations seized the opportunity to be featured from February 9th -11th as an exhibitor on the Big Boys Toys “The Ultimate Playground” 2012 edition held Dubai, United Arab Emirates.  For those not yet familiar with the show, Big Boys Toys is a Middle East premier lifestyle show that features the latest, most powerful products and gives viewers a vicarious thrill with its interactive product demos.

This year’s edition of the show took place at the extravagant ATLANTIS the Palm in Dubai.  While Big Boys Toys 2011 (which also featured CXC’s Motion Pro II racing simulator) was a huge success with more than 27,500 visitors, 85 exhibitors and brand product showcases, the 2012 edition was the biggest yet with over 100 exhibitors and even more showroom space. Over 40,000 visitors came from the Middle East and all over the world this year giving our CXC Simulations’ Motion Pro II driving simulator lots of luxury toy-lovers to win over.

The range of products was amazing. The Big Boys Toys Expo consists of ten product zones: Adventure, Aviation, Digital, Drive, Fashion, Lifestyle, Marine, Off Road, Ride, and Wellness. The way we see it however, the CXC Motion Pro II racing simulator is not limited to one category. We had visitors covered for drive, ride and digital categories, since each simulator is versatile enough to be driven as a professional driving simulator for a huge range of cars, from supercars and professional race cars to off-road cars. Racing game fanatics can get their fill driving tracks around the world with the highest quality racing software. Not only that, but the MP II professional motion simulator can also be used as a flight simulator for aviation enthusiasts!

The CXC Motion Pro II Simulator appeared on the Big Boys Toys product feature webpage, giving it a top-notch review:

You’ll feel every sensation of the car you’re driving, be it the lightening-quick reflexes of a classic Lotus Seven, the thumping power of a vintage Cobra, a bounding sprint car’s dirt-flying slide, landing a jump in a desert truck or rally car or most dramatically, the outright violence of a modern F1 car.

Intensity is fully adjustable, but at maximum settings, jump on a F1 car’s gas pedal and acceleration will slam you back into the seat with every shift. Brake hard and you’ll pitch forward against your four-point safety harness. In a long sweeper, you’ll experience increasing side load and the nuances of lateral grip as your car dances on the edge of adhesion.

These are tactile sensations that professional drivers feel and depend on, available to a degree never before possible in an affordable simulator.

Overall, the Big Boys Toys show this February was a great success for CXC Simulations with lots of visitor interest in our Motion Pro II professional car simulator, and to top it off, lots of sales.

With headquarters in Marina del Rey, California, CXC Simulations was formed specifically to manufacture a professional-level racing simulator that was not only suitable for pro drivers and race teams, but practical for home use. Developed with professional drivers and engineers over a period of two years, the result was the CXC Motion Pro II Simulator, about which AutoWeek said, “might just be the best racing simulator in the world.”

The CXC MP II is carefully assembled from aluminum, laser-cut steel and carbon fiber, the same materials as race cars. Powered by a purpose-built rack-mounted simulation computer, it is compatible with all major commercial and online racing software options and users may choose from a nearly inexhaustible and ever-increasing list of modern or vintage cars to drive, including F1, GT, NASCAR, sports cars, off-road, open-wheel and rally (even race boats) and tracks around the world to race on. Yet the precise implementation and interpretation of that software is what separates the MP II from other simulators; the exact timing, intensity and accuracy of its proprietary full-motion system, tactile transducers and force-feedback controls, together with 5.1 surround sound and a 1080p high-definition video display. The CXC MP II is now also available as a flight simulator. Trusted by professional racers and loved by home simulator users, the CXC Motion Pro II provides the ultimate driving simulator experience.
